Anyone who has shopped at Adams knows that the shelves are stocked with locally grown and produced items, and gourmet delicacies from around the world as well. In addition to the everyday display of meats, fish, cheeses, bakery goods, fresh veggies, candy and floral abundance, the stores will offer fun for kids with free pony rides, petting zoos, face-painting and lots of other fun activities. Radio station WRWD will be at each event, cranking out continuous country music and broadcasting amongst the pumpkins, apples, pears and mums. And in addition to Adams’ selection of ready-to-consume edibles, there will undoubtedly be plenty of special foods being served up.
Celebrate the season at the three locations of Adams Fairacre Farms from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 8 in Kingston and Sunday, October 9 in Poughkeepsie; and from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 15 in Newburgh.
